Pasta tarts à la Didi

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 250 g pasta shells
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 2 slices of Gouda
  • 2 slices of cooked ham
  • 200 ml cream
  • 2 m.-sized eggs
  • 1 tsp sea salt and pepper, mixed, from the mill
  • 1 m.-large shallot(s)
  • 2 tbsp sunflower oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Cook the pasta in salted water according to the instructions, drain, and let cool. Cut the Gouda and ham into small pieces. Add both to the pasta along with the cream. Whisk the eggs and season with salt and pepper. Peel the shallot and dice it. Mix all ingredients together. Heat the oil in a pan. Spoon the pasta mixture into dessert rings and fry on both sides. Carefully remove the tartlets from the rings and continue frying briefly. Plate and serve. This recipe makes 6 tartlets or 2 servings.
