Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 400 g apricots
- 50 ml pear juice or apple juice
- ½ lemon(s), juice
- 1 cinnamon stick(s)
- 40 g vanilla sugar
- possibly cinnamon powder

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Simple, with apricot dumplings
Wash, pit, and roughly dice the apricots. Caramelize the vanilla sugar in a small saucepan, add the pear juice and lemon juice, and bring to a boil briefly until the sugar dissolves. Add the apricots and cinnamon stick, simmer for 15 minutes, then let cool and remove the cinnamon stick. Add more sugar if desired, depending on how sweet or sour the apricots are. Serve with apricot dumplings.
