Mustard – onion marinade for steaks

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 120 g onion(s), finely diced
  • 5 tbsp grainy mustard
  • 2 tbsp beer
  • 4 bay leaves, fresh

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 6 hours; Total time approx. 6 hours 10 minutes

Mix all ingredients (except bay leaves). Brush the steaks with the mixture, add a bay leaf, and marinate for 6 hours. It’s a thousand times better than store-bought. Grill for 6-8 minutes on each side, then season with salt.
