Finis Plum Limes

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 kg plum(s), blue
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 3 tbsp sugar, maybe more (depending on the sweetness of the plums)
  • 1 bag of lemon sugar, 10 g
  • ½ liter of vodka

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 3 hours 30 minutes

Pit and quarter the plums, then simmer with sugar, cinnamon, and lemon sugar for about 1 hour. Once the mixture has cooled, purée thoroughly (to remove the skin) and season to taste, adding more sugar if necessary. Then measure the liquid and add half as much vodka. Mix everything well and bottle. Chill well and enjoy with ice! Note: For me, 1 kg of fruit yielded 1 liter of plum jam, so I added 1/2 liter of vodka.
