Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 200 g feta cheese
- 2 tomatoes
- 1 bell pepper(s)
- 1 zucchini
- chili flakes
- Oregano or Herbes de Provence
- Cinnamon
- Honey, liquid
- salt and pepper
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Place the feta cheese whole in a covered casserole dish (e.g., a glass Jena dish). Top with chili, oregano, cinnamon, and honey to taste. Dice the tomatoes, bell peppers, and zucchini (also delicious with just tomatoes, or just with tomatoes and bell peppers). Arrange the vegetables on and around the cheese. Season with salt, pepper, and oregano. Cover and cook in a preheated oven at 180°C for 30-40 minutes. The liquid should have released from the vegetables, which will simmer in the dish for a while, and then the dish is ready. Enjoy with flatbread.
