Ingredients for 6 servings:
- 1 can peach(s) (pie peaches), drained
- 100 g hazelnuts, ground
- 100 g sugar
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- 1 tbsp cocoa powder
- 50 g cornstarch
- 1 pinch of baking powder
- 4 eggs
- 200 ml milk
- 1 cup of sweet cream
- 100 g butter, melted
- Fat for the mold
- Powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 50 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 5 minutes
Place the well-drained peaches in a greased quiche dish. Combine the hazelnuts, sugar, vanilla sugar, cocoa powder, cornstarch, and baking powder. Then whisk the eggs and stir in the nut mixture a spoonful at a time. Add the milk, cream, and melted butter, mix everything together, and pour over the peaches. Bake the casserole in a preheated oven at 180°C for 20 minutes, then at 150°C for another 30 minutes. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
