Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 kg Aronia berries, fully ripe
  • 1 package of gelling sugar 2:1, 500 g
  • 1 organic lemon(s)
  • ½ tsp vanilla paste

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 4 minutes; Total time approx. 24 minutes

Wash and sort the aronia berries. Grate the lemon zest and squeeze the lemon juice. Combine the aronia berries, gelling sugar, lemon zest, lemon juice, and vanilla paste in a large saucepan and blend with a hand blender until smooth. Bring everything to a boil and simmer for 4 minutes according to the gelling sugar package instructions. Then pour into prepared twist-off jars, seal, and let the jars cool.
