Smoked pork with pineapple

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 1 ½ kg smoked pork, boned, whole
  • 10 cloves
  • Mustard, hot
  • 4 tbsp brown sugar
  • 3 tbsp pineapple juice
  • 8 slices of pineapple

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour 40 minutes; Total time approx. 2 hours

Stud the pork loin with the cloves and spread with the hot mustard. Roast in a preheated oven at 160°C for 90 minutes. Mix the brown sugar with the pineapple juice and brush the pork loin with it. Then top the pork loin with the pineapple slices and finish cooking for another 10 minutes at 200°C. Mashed potatoes, baked or fried potatoes, iceberg lettuce, or coleslaw are suitable side dishes.
