Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 400 g minced beef or mixed
  • 1 stale roll
  • 2 onions
  • 2 eggs
  • salt and pepper
  • Fat, for frying
  • 3 onions
  • 250 g mushrooms
  • 2 gherkins
  • 125 ml broth
  • 200 g crème fraîche or sour cream
  • 2 tsp mustard
  • Sugar
  • Paprika powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Make a spicy minced meat dough from the minced meat, the soaked, squeezed-out bread roll, chopped onions, eggs, salt, pepper, and paprika. Form steaks and fry in hot fat, then keep warm. Meanwhile, slice the onions, mushrooms, and cucumbers into thin strips. First, sauté the onions in the pan juices, then add the mushrooms. Stir in the broth and crème fraîche or sour cream, and reduce slightly. Season to taste with mustard and spices, then stir in the pickles. Serve the sauce and minced steaks together. Cooked pasta is best served with the meat.
