Braised cucumber with meatballs

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 600 g minced meat
  • 2 cucumber(s), green
  • 200 g sweet cream
  • ½ bunch of dill
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • 2 tbsp meat broth and 500 ml water
  • Sauce thickener, light
  • oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Season the minced meat, form into meatballs, and fry in oil. Peel and core the cucumbers, then add to the meatballs. Fry for 2 minutes, then add 500 ml of water and 2 tablespoons of meat broth and stir gently. Cook for 3 minutes. Now stir in the sweet cream and simmer for another 2 minutes over low heat. Season with dill, pepper, and salt, and thicken with a light sauce thickener. Serve with boiled potatoes.
