Watermelon and strawberry jam à la Gabi

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 400 g watermelon(s), the prepared pulp weighed, diced
  • 500 g strawberries, fresh
  • 1 lemon(s), juice
  • 500 g gelling sugar 2:1

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 4 minutes; Total time approx. 24 minutes

Puree the watermelon and strawberries with a hand blender, bring to a boil in a saucepan with lemon juice and preserving sugar, stirring occasionally. Then simmer for 4 minutes, stirring constantly. Test for set. If the jam is set, pour it into jars while still hot.
