Strawberry-mango jam

Spread the love

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 700 g strawberries
  • 250 ml mango juice (mango nectar)
  • 1 pack of lemon peel flavoring
  • 1 pack of strawberry gelling sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 3 minutes; Total time approx. 13 minutes

Wash and hull the strawberries, cut into small pieces, and weigh out 700 grams. Measure 250 ml of nectar. Combine the strawberries, nectar, lemon zest, and gelling sugar in a large saucepan. Bring everything to a boil over high heat, stirring continuously, and simmer for at least 3 minutes. Skim off any foam and immediately fill prepared jars to the brim. Secure with screw caps, turn upside down, and let stand on the lids for about 5 minutes. I pureed the jam before bottling because the pieces I cut were too large.
