Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 150 g ginger
  • 100 g brown sugar
  • 50 g brown rock sugar
  • 500 ml water

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Peel the ginger, weigh it, and cut it into 1 mm thin slices. Measure the sugar, rock candy, and water. Now, take a pot, heat the water, and dissolve the brown sugar completely. Add the ginger and rock candy, cover, and let everything simmer for about 15 minutes. Then, strain the syrup and pour it into a small bottle. Caution: The syrup should not be thick.
