Chicory gratin with balsamic vinegar

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 8 chicory
  • 30 g butter
  • 50 g ham (Serrano)
  • 300 ml cream
  • 6 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 200 g Parmesan, grated
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

extremely quick and easy to prepare

Dice the Serrano ham and fry without fat. Halve the chicory and remove the stalk. Melt the butter in another pan and fry the chicory. Then remove it from the pan and place it in a baking dish. Spread the Serrano ham on top and pour over the cream. Season with salt and pepper. Spread the Parmesan cheese and balsamic vinegar evenly over the top. Cook in a preheated oven at 200°C until the surface is golden brown.
