Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 500 g minced beef
  • 2 onions
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 small cans of tomatoes
  • 2 small cans of kidney beans
  • 1 pinch(s) of sugar
  • salt and pepper
  • Cayenne pepper or sambal oelek

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Heat the oil while chopping the onions and crushing the garlic cloves. Sauté both in the oil. Add the minced meat and fry thoroughly. Add all the tomatoes. Then add the entire can of kidney beans. Season with spices and sugar. Simmer gently for at least 1 1/2 hours. It tastes even better the next day. You can also serve it with rice, spaetzle, or dark bread.
