Honey apple with almonds on crepes or ice cream

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 apple (Elstar)
  • 1 handful of almonds, sliced
  • 2 tbsp honey, liquid
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 1 tbsp butter

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Peel the apple, remove the core, and slice thinly. Heat butter in a nonstick pan and fry the apple slices. When the apples lose their liquid and begin to brown, reduce the heat to medium. Sprinkle 1 packet of vanilla sugar over the apples, add a handful of almonds, and toast. Finally, add the honey. When it melts, remove from the heat immediately. Serve with vanilla ice cream and/or crepes or thin pancakes.
