easy and fast

Wash and core the apples, and cut them into 1cm-thick rings. Soak the raisins in a little rum. Heat the oil or butter in a large frying pan on gas mark 7 out of 10. Add the rings and fry for about 10 minutes until browned. Turn off the heat and drizzle the honey, a little cinnamon, the raisins, and the rum over the apple slices. Let the pan cool until lukewarm, then remove the rings and divide them between two plates. Pour the pan juices over the rings. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve the apple rings warm. If desired, add vanilla ice cream, vanilla sauce, or cream.
