Baked apple with marzipan filling

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 large apple, red
  • 1 handful of marzipan
  • some raisins
  • 3 biscuits (amaretti), crumbled
  • 1 shot of rum
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • ¼ tsp cinnamon
  • Honey
  • powdered sugar
  • Sauce (custard)

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Core the apple. Knead the marzipan with the other ingredients and then press it into the apple. Drizzle with a little honey and place in the preheated oven. Bake at 200°C for about 10-15 minutes. Arrange the vanilla sauce on a plate, place the apple on top, drizzle with a little honey, and serve dusted with powdered sugar. This filling is something different than just nuts. A must-try for all marzipan fans.
