Turkey schnitzel in tomato and cheese sauce

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 5 tomatoes
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 ½ cups sour cream
  • ½ cup reduced-fat cream
  • 1 shot of red wine
  • basil
  • tarragon
  • curry
  • Chili powder, hot
  • salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder, sweet
  • Paprika powder, hot
  • 100 g cheese, grated
  • 2 turkey schnitzels

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour

with fresh tomatoes. Served with rice or pasta

Peel the skin from 4 tomatoes. Dice the tomatoes and puree. Finely dice the onion. Crush the garlic and mix everything together. Add the cream, sour cream, and red wine, then season with the herbs and spices. Mix in the cheese. Season the turkey cutlets with salt, pepper, and curry powder, and place them in a baking dish. Slice 1 tomato and place on top. Spread the sauce over the top. Bake in the oven at 180°C for about 40 minutes.
