Loin in Gorgonzola sauce

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 1 ½ kg pork loin(s)
  • 3 cups of sweet cream
  • 600g Gorgonzola
  • 600 g mascarpone
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Season the loin with salt and pepper, place it in a roasting bag, and roast for 1 hour at 200°C (400°F). Combine the cream, Gorgonzola, and mascarpone in a saucepan and heat until the cheese has melted. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Remove the loin from the roasting bag, let it rest for 10 minutes, then slice it. Place the loin slices in an ovenproof dish and pour the sauce over them. Bake for about 30 minutes. This goes best with pasta. This recipe is perfect for parties, as it can be prepared well in advance and then simply popped in the oven.
