Roast pork ham with salsify

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 700 g roast ham
  • salt and pepper
  • 3 tsp mustard
  • 3 tsp beetroot syrup or honey
  • some paprika powder
  • some oil for spraying or brushing
  • 1 jar salsify
  • ½ lemon(s)

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 50 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 35 minutes

Air fryer

Season the meat with salt and pepper. Combine the mustard, sugar beet syrup, a little paprika, and a little oil, and brush the meat with it. Then wrap it in aluminum foil and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes. Remove the meat from the refrigerator and the foil. Transfer it to a large, ovenproof dish and bake in the air fryer at 180°C for about 50 minutes. After 30 minutes, add the drained salsify from the jar, drizzle with lemon juice, and brush with the remaining marinade.
