Creamed Brussels Sprouts

Spread the love

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 500 g Brussels sprouts, frozen
  • 1 tsp, heaped vegetable stock powder
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 cup of cream

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

simple, vegetarian, high in calories

Melt 1 tablespoon of butter in a saucepan and let it brown slightly. Then add the frozen Brussels sprouts and fry them lightly on all sides. Season generously with bouillon powder. Pour in the cream and cook over medium heat until the cream has evaporated. This takes about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally, but rarely, as the individual leaves will fall off. I’m definitely not a Brussels sprout eater, but I can’t get enough of them in this form.
