Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 125 g sugar
  • 125 g margarine
  • 3 m.-sized eggs
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 200 g flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 3 apples
  • Fat for the mold

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

for a 26cm springform pan

Cream together the butter, sugar, vanilla sugar, and eggs until fluffy. Stir in the flour and baking powder and pour into a greased 26cm springform pan. Peel and quarter the apples, then place them on the batter, pressing down lightly. Preheat the oven to 175°C (top/bottom heat) and bake the cake on the middle rack for about 25 to 30 minutes. Don’t forget to do the toothpick test! Tip: You can also add cinnamon and cloves or gingerbread spice to the cake batter. I sometimes like to sprinkle a little cinnamon and sugar on top before baking.
