  • 1 tsp vanilla sugar
  • 125 g butter
  • Cornflakes (Chocolate Chips)

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 25 minutes

Shortcrust pastry, cutely decorated

Mix the flour, cornstarch, and powdered sugar together and sift into a bowl. Add the vanilla sugar and butter pieces and knead everything into a shortcrust pastry. Shape the dough into a ball, wrap it in plastic wrap, and chill for about 30 minutes. Shape the dough into walnut-sized balls (I use between 30 and 36) and place them on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Press the cornflakes onto the sides to form ears, place the chocolate chips in the center to form a nose, and sprinkle the sprinkles for eyes. Bake in a preheated oven at 160°C for about 25 minutes.
