Ingredients for 9 servings:
- 1 pack of puff pastry (fresh from the refrigerated section, 270 g)
- ¼ liter of milk
- 1 tbsp sugar
- ½ pack of pudding powder, vanilla
- 1 tbsp quark (cottage cheese)
- 200 g plums, cleaned and pitted
- 9 tsp, levelled sugar, brown
- n. B. Sugar granules
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 20 minutes
Remove the puff pastry from the fridge and leave in the package for 10 minutes. Make a pudding from the milk, sugar, and vanilla pudding powder according to the package instructions. Cover and refrigerate. Cut the prepared plums into wedges. Roll out the puff pastry, cut lengthwise into 3 strips, and then cut these strips into thirds. Arrange all pieces on 2 baking sheets. Stir a heaped tablespoon of curd cheese into the cooled pudding. Spread a tablespoon of this mixture onto each strip of pastry and smooth it out. Leave a small border all around. Place the plum wedges on top. Sprinkle 1 teaspoon of brown sugar on top of each piece. Bake the whole thing, one after the other, in the oven at 175°C (fan oven) for approx. 20-25 minutes. Then sprinkle with sugar.
