Ingredients for 3 servings:
- 1 pack of puff pastry, bought ready-made
- 250 g nougat
- some milk, for brushing
- some hazelnuts, chopped for sprinkling
Instructions
Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes
quickly made for a surprise visit
Roll out the puff pastry. Cut into triangles. Portion out the nougat and place it on the dough. Shape into croissants. Place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper, brush with milk, and then sprinkle with the chopped nuts. Bake in a preheated oven at approximately 200°C until golden brown. This can also be made with Danish pastry. Another variation would be to fill the croissants with Mozartkugeln.
