Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 200 g butter
  • 1 pack of lemon zest
  • 200 g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 275 g flour
  • 1 kg apples, peeled, pitted, cut into wedges
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • 1 bag almond(s), sliced
  • Powdered sugar for sprinkling

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour

Sheet cake

Cream the butter until fluffy, then gradually stir in the lemon zest, sugar, vanilla sugar, and eggs, then mix in the flour. Spread the batter onto a greased baking sheet and arrange the apples in rows. Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon. Finally, sprinkle with almonds and bake at 200°C (400°F) for about 30 minutes. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and cut into pieces.
