Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 100 g almond(s), roasted
  • 1 tbsp, heaped vanilla sugar
  • 250 ml almond drink, sweetened with vanilla flavor
  • 125 ml cream
  • 125 ml brown rum

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest period approx. 2 days; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 2 days 30 minutes

Chop the roasted almonds with a knife, then chop them as finely as possible in a food processor. Heat the almond milk, vanilla sugar, and cream in a saucepan. Add the almonds and let them steep briefly. Then puree with a hand blender, bring to a boil—careful, the liquid will boil over—and simmer briefly. Remove the pan from the heat and let the liquid cool slightly. Add the rum, stir well, and bottle. Let it steep in the refrigerator for 2-3 days.
