Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 150 g flour
- 50 g cornstarch
- 1 egg(s)
- 50 g sugar
- 100 g butter or margarine
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 pack of pudding powder, vanilla
- 500 ml milk
- 100 g sugar
- 750 g apples, sour
- 150 g sugar
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- ½ tsp cinnamon
- 125 ml apple juice
- 1 pack of cake glaze, clear
- 250 ml apple juice
- 2 tbsp sugar
- Almond(s), flakes, roasted
Instructions
Working time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour
For the base: Knead together flour, cornstarch, egg, butter, sugar, and a pinch of salt. Grease a 26cm springform pan and line the base and sides with the dough. The edges can be trimmed later. For the first filling, cook the vanilla pudding and let it cool. Pour the lukewarm pudding onto the base. For the second filling, peel the apples, cut them into wedges, and sauté them with sugar, lemon juice, cinnamon, and apple juice until half-cooked. Cool and drain well. Arrange the apples on the pudding. Trim the edges to the appropriate height. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for approx. 45-55 minutes. Let the cake cool. Prepare the glaze from apple juice, cake glaze, and sugar according to the package instructions and cover the cake with it. Sprinkle with toasted almond flakes.
