Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 375 g flour
  • 225 g sugar
  • 175 g margarine
  • 1 large egg(s)
  • ½ dl orange juice
  • 1 tsp vanilla sugar
  • 1 tsp, heaped baking soda
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 160 g poppy seeds, ground
  • 60 g sugar
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 1 lemon(s), the juice and the grated peel
  • 100 ml water or apple juice
  • 2 tbsp raisins

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Total time approx. 2 hours 30 minutes

Beat the margarine with the sugar and vanilla sugar until fluffy. Add the egg and orange juice. Add the flour, salt, and baking soda. Let the dough rest in the refrigerator for about 1-2 hours. Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F). Mix together the filling ingredients. Roll out the dough on a floured surface and cut out circles about 8 cm in diameter. Place 1 teaspoon of filling in the center of each circle, fold up the sides, and press firmly to form a triangle. Place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Place in the preheated oven and bake for about 15 minutes. Other possible fillings include poppy seed filling, other versions of poppy seed filling, date filling, and plum filling – find them in my profile.
