Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2 shallots
  • 2 tsp vegetable oil
  • 2 tsp thyme
  • 150 ml dry white wine
  • 250 ml vegetable stock
  • 1 tbsp sauce thickener, light
  • 90 g sour cream
  • Salt and pepper, colorful

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Finely dice the shallots. Heat the oil in a pan and fry the shallots until translucent, stirring occasionally. Sprinkle with thyme and fry briefly. Deglaze with white wine and broth, reduce heat to low and simmer for about 5 minutes, then thicken with a sauce thickener. Stir in the sour cream, but do not allow it to boil, and season with salt and pepper. Serve the white wine sauce with fish, pasta, or vegetables.
