delicious bread with olives, dried tomatoes and herbs, vegan
Dissolve the sugar and yeast in lukewarm water, then knead into a smooth dough with the salt and flour. I also like to use wholemeal spelt flour. Cover and let rise for about 90 minutes. Finely chop the sun-dried tomatoes and dice the olives. Knead 2 tablespoons of oil from the tomatoes and the remaining ingredients into the dough. If you like, you can also add chopped jalapeños. Form two ciabatta loaves, place them on a baking sheet lined with baking paper, and place them in a cold (!) oven. Then set the oven to 200°C and bake for about 30 to 35 minutes. Alternatively, you can also form them into rolls or hamburger buns, depending on your taste and intended use.
