Flaxseed and oat bread

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 450 g Flour Type 405
  • 80 g flaxseed, unground
  • 80 g oat flakes
  • 1 tsp iodized salt
  • 1 cube of yeast or 2 sachets of dry yeast
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • ½ liter of milk, 3.5% better 3.9%
  • Margarine for greasing

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 50 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 25 minutes

Weigh the flour, flaxseed, oats, salt, olive oil, and sugar into a mixing bowl and mix roughly. Crumble the yeast cube and mix into the existing mixture. Using a food processor or hand mixer with a dough hook, mix the dough further, first on a low speed and then faster, gradually adding the milk. Knead until you have a smooth dough. Let the dough rise in a warm place until it has increased in volume by about 1 1/2 to 2 times. Grease a loaf pan and pour in the risen dough. Bake the bread on the middle rack at 180°C (convection oven) for about 30-50 minutes.
