Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 800 g turkey schnitzel, chicken breast or similar
- Fat for frying
- 20 ml oil
- 1 tsp sambal oelek, heaped
- 1 tsp curry powder, more or less to taste
- salt and pepper
- Garlic salt, if you like, a fresh clove
- some ginger powder
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 12 hours; Total time approx. 12 hours 30 minutes
Wash the meat and pat dry. Prepare a marinade with all the ingredients. Place the meat in a bowl or deep plate (depending on the quantity) and let it marinate, ideally overnight in the refrigerator. It’s absolutely delicious—but be careful, it’s quite spicy, not for the faint-hearted! Then fry or grill the meat in fat as usual. Of course, you can use any other meat you enjoy. However, I created this marinade for poultry, since it tends to taste a bit bland in the flesh.
