Urmelis chocolate muffins

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g flour
  • 150 g sour cream
  • 120 g milk chocolate
  • 110 g sugar
  • 80 g butter
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 2 tbsp chocolate chips
  • 2 eggs

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Preheat oven to 180°C. Grease the 12-cup muffin cups. Finely chop or grate the milk chocolate. Melt the butter in the microwave, preferably. Combine the flour, baking powder, sugar, vanilla sugar, grated chocolate, eggs, melted butter, and sour cream in a bowl and mix with a hand mixer on low speed until the ingredients are just combined. Beat on high speed for another minute. Divide the batter among the cups and scatter the chocolate chips over the muffins, pressing down lightly. Bake for 20-25 minutes, until the muffins have risen and are a lovely golden brown. Tip: If you like, you can fill the cups halfway, then place a piece of chocolate in the center of each, and then pour the remaining batter on top for an even more chocolatey flavor.
