Maultaschen – Tabasco soup

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 1 packet of chicken broth or vegetable broth (instant)
  • 1 liter of water
  • 1 pack of Maultasche(s) (usually 6 pieces) with meat or vegetable filling
  • 100 ml cream
  • dashes Tabasco

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 5 minutes

Cut the Maultaschen into strips or cubes. Add the soup mix to 1 liter of water, add the Maultaschen (pieces) directly, and simmer gently for about 20 minutes. After 20 minutes, turn off the heat, add 100 ml of cream, and add a few to many generous dashes of Tabasco, if desired.
