Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 2 vanilla pods
  • 2 stalk(s) cinnamon
  • 2 star anise if needed
  • 10 cloves, whole
  • 1 orange(s), peel
  • 500 ml honey (bee or mountain honey)

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Peel the orange very thinly (without the white part). Split the vanilla pods and divide them into three parts. Fill a jar (approx. 750 ml) with the spices and pour the honey over them. Stir, seal, and let it steep for at least 10 days. Then either remove all ingredients from the honey or leave it as it is. It’s perfect on bread, salads, with tea, or as a dessert. To give as a gift, simply select attractive jars in advance and scatter the spices between them. Pour the honey over the spices and seal. Shelf life is approximately 1 year.
