Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 4 large chops (neck chops)
- 4 slice(s) ham, cooked
- 3 bell peppers, colored, diced
- oregano
- 1 tube(s) Tomato paste
- 200 g cheese, grated
- some butter
- some flour
- Thyme
- basil
- pepper
- Fat, for frying
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Brown the chops thoroughly and transfer them from the pan to the baking dish. Arrange the ham on top of the chops. Melt some butter in a saucepan, mix with the flour, and deglaze with water. Stir in the tomato paste, add the spices and bell peppers, and bring to a boil briefly. Then pour everything over the chops and scatter the cheese on top. Place in a preheated oven at 200°C for about 35 minutes. Serve with rice or baguette.
