Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 750 g cranberries, frozen
- 150 g smoothie (strawberry smoothie), strawberry syrup or raspberry syrup
- 150 ml red wine
- 50 g sugar
- 15 g Gelfix 3:1
- 1 lemon(s), the juice
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes
Allow the frozen cranberries, red wine, smoothie, strawberry or raspberry syrup, sugar, and lemon juice to come to room temperature a few hours before cooking. Then transfer to a large pot and mix roughly. Cook for 7 minutes, stirring continuously. After 7 minutes, add 15g of Gelfix powder (3:1) and continue cooking for 3 minutes, stirring continuously. Add a little water if necessary, depending on the consistency. Pour into small twist-off jars. Ideal for Sunday bread, on brown bread spread with Philadelphia cheese, or with game dishes, roast goose, or duck.
