Cheese and sour cream pasta

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 250 g pasta (wholemeal pasta)
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 tbsp milk
  • 100 g cooked ham, preferably from turkey
  • 100 g processed cheese
  • 3 tbsp herbs, as desired
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp margarine
  • ½ clove(s) garlic
  • 2 egg yolks
  • Salt (tomato seasoning salt)
  • Pepper, from the mill

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Cook the pasta in water with salt and oil according to the package instructions, then drain in a colander. Finely chop the herbs and garlic and mix with the milk and sour cream in a bowl. Add the two egg yolks and mix well. Cut the ham into small cubes and add to the pan with the margarine. Fry the ham for a few minutes. Once the ham is well browned, pour the sauce into the pan and add the cream cheese and oil. Stir the sauce occasionally and let it cook for a few minutes. Season to taste. Serve the pasta on plates and pour the sauce over it. Garnish with a few herbs, if desired.
