Vanilla muffins with a marzipan filling, makes 12 pieces

First, combine the sugar, flour, baking powder, vanilla sugar, vanilla pudding powder, and ground almonds. Next, mix in the butter and eggs. Place the paper baking cups in the muffin tin (it’s best to use two per cup, as this will help them hold together better). Now, form 12 equal-sized marzipan balls. Fill the cups halfway with batter, place the marzipan balls in the center of the cups, and press them down lightly. Divide the remaining batter among the cups. Bake the muffins at 160°C (fan oven) for 20 minutes.
