Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g smoked pork
  • 250 ml vegetable stock
  • 200 ml cream
  • 200 g processed cheese
  • 1 bunch of spring onions
  • 1 gr. can/n peas and carrots, drained
  • e.g. salt and pepper
  • e.g. paprika powder
  • 3 tbsp sauce thickener, if needed

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Cut the smoked pork into cubes and fry. Then deglaze with the vegetable stock and cream. Now add the processed cheese, stir everything together in the pan, and simmer for about 20 minutes. In the meantime, slice the spring onions into small rings. Carefully stir in the drained peas and carrots, season with salt, pepper, and paprika, and thicken with a sauce thickener if desired. Stir in the spring onions just before serving. We serve it with mashed potatoes.
