Iced tea with herbs and ginger

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 tea bags (apple tea)
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 small piece(s) of ginger, approx. 1 cm
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 4 sprigs lemon balm
  • 2 stalk(s) lemongrass
  • ice cubes

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Total time approx. 2 hours 15 minutes

Summer drink

Pour one liter of hot water over the apple tea, let it steep for about 10 minutes. Then remove the tea bags, stir in the sugar, and chill for two hours. Peel the ginger and slice it thinly, and wash the lemon balm. Add the ginger, lemon juice, lemon balm, lemongrass, and ice cubes to the tea and let it steep briefly. Pour into glasses.
