  • 1 slice(s) lemon(s)
  • 3 mint leaves
  • ½ tsp flavoring (vanilla)

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Recipe from Tea Factory Kandapola, Sri Lanka

Brew the tea leaves and all the spices with 1 liter of boiling water, let it steep for 5 minutes, filter, and enjoy while still very hot. Option 1: Even more delicious is the pan-frying method: first toast the spices (without the tea) in a pan, deglaze with hot water, add the tea leaves, and let it steep for 5 minutes. Filter. Delicious! Option 2: Pour milk instead of water – this creates a rounder, fuller flavor.
