Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 250 g sugar
- 250 g margarine
- 5 eggs
- 1 tbsp vanilla sugar
- 375 g flour
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 65 g almond(s), chopped
- 2 tbsp coffee powder
- 250 ml water, boiling
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 50 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 5 minutes
Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Put two teaspoons of coffee powder into a large mug and pour over boiling water. Beat the margarine and eggs until frothy. Add the sugar and vanilla sugar. Mix the flour with the baking powder and stir into the batter. Add the coffee and coffee grounds, along with the almonds and cocoa powder. Pour the batter into a greased bundt pan and bake for 50-60 minutes. I can’t give an exact baking time, as I always test the cake with a wooden skewer to see when it’s baked through.
