  • 175 g sugar
  • 175 g butter or margarine
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 4 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1 cup milk
  • 250 g cream
  • 1 pack of cream stiffener
  • 50 g chocolate sprinkles
  • 30 ml banana liqueur
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 3 bananas

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, vanilla sugar, and cocoa powder. Melt butter or margarine in the microwave or in a small saucepan and add it to the dry ingredients along with the eggs. Using a hand mixer, mix until a crumbly dough forms. Gradually add milk until the dough is thick. Grease a springform pan and pour in the batter. Bake at 200°C (400°F) for 30-40 minutes. Let the cake cool. Cut off the “lid.” Hollow out the cake with a spoon. Leave the edges intact. Crumble the cut-off lid into a bowl. Whip the cream with the vanilla sugar and cream stabilizer. Fold in the banana liqueur and chocolate chips. Peel the bananas, halve them, and place them on the hollowed-out base. Spoon the cream over the top in a mound. Cover the mound of cream with the crumbs.
