Pasta in creamy ham and tomato sauce

Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 500 g pasta
  • 100 g ham, diced
  • 100 g tomato paste
  • 200 ml cream
  • 100 ml water
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • some salt
  • some oil
  • possibly pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Cook the pasta according to the package instructions; I prefer penne. Meanwhile, heat a little oil in a pan and add the diced ham, frying lightly. Then pour in the cream and water and mix with the tomato paste. To help it bind, I also add a slightly heaped tablespoon of flour. Let it simmer briefly and season with salt, stirring frequently to ensure everything is evenly mixed and no flour lumps form. If you like, you can also season it with pepper. Depending on your taste, either mix it with the pasta or pour the sauce over the pasta.
