  • 1 large cucumber(s)
  • 1 lemon(s)
  • Sugar
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Cucumber salad with lemon and sugar

Wash the cucumber and peel it roughly, leaving a little of the green pith. Slice it thinly, and toss it in a bowl with a pinch of salt. Squeeze the lemon and pour the juice over the cucumber slices. Sprinkle with sugar and add a little finely ground white pepper. Adjust the amount of sugar to your liking; the salad should definitely not taste sour; it should be refreshing for hot days. Mix and let it sit in the refrigerator for about 20 minutes. Enjoy!
