Cake glaze

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 tbsp potato flour
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 250 ml fruit juice, or water with syrup

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 5 minutes

homemade

Mix together the cornstarch, sugar, and a few tablespoons of fruit juice until there are no more lumps. Bring the remaining fruit juice to a boil. Slowly add the cornstarch mixture in a thin stream, stirring constantly. Bring to a boil for about 1/2 minute, stirring constantly. Immediately pour the glaze onto the cake. Tip: – Potato flour makes the glaze clear. You can also use cornstarch, but this will make the glaze a little cloudy. – Instead of fruit juice, you can also use water with a little syrup. This gives a good flavor and a good color (e.g. grenadine or raspberry syrup).
