Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 400 ml pear juice
- 5 cloves
- 5 grains of allspice
- 8 juniper berries
- ½ cinnamon stick(s)
- ½ lemon(s), squeezed
- 40 ml gin, up to 80 ml if desired
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes
based on pear juice
Pour the pear juice and spices into a saucepan, heat until just before boiling, and let it simmer on the turned-off stovetop for about 20-30 minutes to allow the spices to release their aroma. Then remove the spices, reheat the juice, stir in the gin, season with lemon juice, pour into heatproof glasses or mugs, and serve hot.
